Drama club met afterschool to practice for their production of “Almost, Maine” Oct. 6.
Sophomore Caleb Tolbert discusses his favorite aspects of the play.
“This play incorporates real-world situations like love and relationships, while delivering perspectives from both men and women. How their differences ultimately clash but in the end they both rise up after that conflict and try to put everything back together,” Tolbert said.
Tolbert is playing the roles of both Pete and Steve and is thrilled to be a part of the drama department.
“I see drama as an escape from the problems of the real-world. I love how you are able to express yourself on stage in a way that you could not in real life without being judged for it,” Tolbert said.
“Almost, Maine” opens Nov. 20 in the auditorium.
