SoundTransit lines stretch for Wednesday’s commute to Seattle

Seahawk fans braved the cold Wednesday morning to board the SoundTransit train at the Puyallup Station. Parking for the train impacted students at Puyallup High School as well as attendance for the day.

Approximately 700,000 fans gathered in Seattle for the celebratory parade to honor the Superbowl champions. Lines for tickets for the train stretched around both sides of the tracks.

Not a short line, fans stood in brisk February weather Wednesday morning, attempting to make it up to Seattle for the Seahawk celebration parade, Feb. 5.
