Gloria Y. Perez-Cruz is a junior at Puyallup High School and the Clubs Editor for The Viking yearbook. Perez-Cruz initially joined VSM to get out of her comfort zone, discovering a love for storytelling in the process. When not working for VSM, Perez-Cruz attends college classes, does her homework, and spends time with her siblings and pet dogs.

Perez-Cruz aims to become a labor and delivery nurse in the future.

Perez-Cruz has won a caption writing competition hosted by Jostens at the 2024 Washington Journalism and Media Conference.
