Senior Tiffany Nomakchteinsky was accepted into the All Northwest Honor Band Nov. 13.
The band starts rehearsals Feb. 12 and ends Feb. 15. They are preparing for a concert that will be in Spokane, Feb. 15.
Nomakchteinsky briefly describes her music history.
“I have been playing the trumpet since the fifth grade and never expected it to evolve into such an important aspect of my life. I am glad that I made the decision to pursue music,” Nomakchteinsky said.
The All Northwest Honor Band gives Nomakchteinsky the chance to work with a range of musicians.
“I am really excited to be a part of the All Northwest Honor Band because I get to collaborate with musicians not only from Washington State but from the entire Northwest Region of the country,” Nomakchteinsky said.
