The Varsity girls soccer team took time out during their game yesterday vs. Emerald Ridge to appreciate teachers.
Teachers were selected by the senior women on the team.
Senior Katelynn Wood recognized Senior English and Debate teacher, Sarah Sherry.
“I loved that [the night] was a giant family affair,” Sherry said. “Several teachers had their kids at the game, throughout the awards at the beginning of the game there was an emphasis on unity and everyone was quick to smile and really enjoy the evening.”

The Lady Viks went on to beat Emerald Ridge, 4-0.
