The Vikings lost on Friday to the fourth ranked Lincoln Abes 41-16.
the team was keeping it to a one possession game for almost all of the first half. However on the last of the half, Lincoln scored a touchdown to extend their lead to 21-9.
The Vikings scored the first points off of a botched snap. It was recovered and taken back for a touchdown to cut the lead down to six.
After that the Vikings went downhill. The offense would only run three plays in the that quarter and two fumbles did not ell their cause.
League play starts next week as the Vikings take on the Bethel Braves at Carl Sparks Stadium next Friday.
