Football took a great win against Union High School Oct. 5 with the ending score being 42-41.
The Vikings took the lead at half 28-14. Running backs senior Isaiah Dickerson and senior Kyler Johnson each scored two touchdowns.
In the third quarter, Puyallup scored again, making the score 35-21.
In the last quarter the team gave up a touchdown, but sophomore receiver Jordan Dwyer scored their last touchdown making it 42-35 with 2:25 left.
Union failed to score on the fourth down and then time ran out.
Puyallup thought they won, then a pass interference was called to continue play with 00:00 on the clock.
With no time left, Union matched with a touchdown, making it 42-41.
Union had a holding call which pushed them back and they took a kick at 35 yards. They missed the kick and Puyallup won the game.
