After only one play from scrimmage the score was 8-0 Curtis. That was the story of the first half.

The second half was almost literally the exact opposite of first half.
It started with PHS scoring in 1:36 into the second half. Each team scored in the next two possessions taking the combined score in the second half to 21 points and not even six minutes bad gone by in the second half.
A third touchdown that came off of a fourth down stop by the defense put the Viks were down by seven at the end of the third quarter.
A back and forth fourth quarter got its first score with 4:40 seconds left as the Viks tied the game up. The defense stopped Curtis again and gave the offense the ball with three minutes to go. A field goal attempt was blocked by Curtis with 40 seconds left that sent the game to overtime.
The defense stood tall as they got another stop on fourth down. The offense started their quest with a eleven yard run by quarterback Nathaniel Holcomb. After getting stopped on three straight plays a 28 yard field goal ended the game with the Vikings Winning 40-37!! Go Viks!
With this win the Viking move to 2-1 in league and pit themselves in the thick of the playoff race.
