“Elseworlds” Review

Elseworlds, a crossover between DC’s Flash, Green Arrow and Supergirl, is out on the CW.

The story takes place with the Flash (Grant Gustin) and Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) switching lives. They have the same bodies but their realities are switched. Everyone on Earth One, one of DC multiple universis, now knows Barry Allen (the Flash) as Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) and Oliver Queen as Barry Allen.

Barry and Oliver seem to be the only ones that remember that they are not who they are supposed to be and when no one believe them, they go to Supergirl’s universe, earth 38, in hopes that she can help them with their troubles.

The story all together was amazing as it tested our heroes and their bonds as friends and allies. Trusting each other as they took on each other’s roles in the story and how they pushed on no matter what change came their way.

Batwoman (Ruby Rose) also showed up for the action-packed fun. Although Batwoman did not seen to have as big of a part to play in the battle, she did help our heroes out when they got into trouble.

In the end, everything seemed to wrap up and it teased that next crossover episodes would be called “Crisis on Infinite Earths” coming out fall 2019. So, it could be possible that everything in this crossover could cross with what’s coming up in the future.

In “Elseworlds” there are some spoilers from the three series, Flash, Arrow and Supergirl, but nothing much that would spoil the whole series.  If you’re okay with a little bit of spoilers then this is an awesome crossover for you to watch.

Out of the other crossovers, this one was my favorite and is worth to skip some of the episodes of the different series to see it. Although this one did not have as clear of an end as the crossovers that happened before, this one was still amazing and made me even more excised to watch the next crossover, “Crisis on Infinite Earths.”
