Q:  Why did you become a librarian?       

A: “I was an English teacher for 20 years up at Edgemont Junior high and then part time librarian.”

 

Q: What inspired you to become a librarian?

A: “I love books and I love reading and I love young adult literature.”

 

Q: What is your favorite book?

A: “I love Sarah Mass and her series.”

 

Q: What’s your favorite part of your job?

A: “ My favorite part of my job talking about books with people and I love shopping for books.”

 

Q: What is the hardest part of your job?

A: “Budgets don’t change, but the price of everything I get makes it even more challenging.”

 

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?

A: “My husband and I have cabin. I of course read but I also like to sew. The most recent thing I sewed were costumes for a musical I was involved in called Parable. “

 

Q: Anything to add?

A: “It’s a really exciting time to be a librarian with all that computers bring. I can hardly wrap my head around what libraries will looks like in the next 5 to 10 years.”
