Senior Sarah Steimle is proud and ready to lead the girls basketball team as captain this season.
“I cannot wait to play, I am just really excited,” Steimle said.
Steimle says she was unhappy about the ending of last season and hopes to change the outcome this year.
“We lost one game away from getting to play in the Tacoma Dome [semi-finals],” Steimle said.
This year’s team, however, will be different from teams that came before.
“We actually have almost half of a team of sophomores [this year],” Steimle said.
Steimle says she is ready to compete with her Puyallup High School team, as leader, one last time.
“I cannot wait to play with all of my wonderful teammates since this will my senior year,” Steimle said.
