If you’ve been on the internet lately, you might’ve heard a love song and a heartbreak song coming from Olivia Rodrigo. With her new album approaching its release day, fans have been anxiously waiting for ‘You seem pretty sad for a girl so in love” to drop!
“You seem pretty sad for a girl so in love” is Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming album! The title alone sets the album apart from its predecessors, SOUR and GUTS due to it being longer than the usual 4 letter word format she seemed to go for. This album also uses a completely different color scheme from its predecessors, abandoning the purple colors for a light pink shade instead. “You seem pretty sad for a girl so in love” has made fans excited for more after Rodrigo released two songs from the album as singles.
From the information that we know about this album, The A side of the track list will represent the love side of the album, with drop dead giving us a sneak peek into the first half of the album. The B side will represent the sad side of the album, with ‘The Cure’ giving us that hint of sorrow to be prepared for on the second half of the album. With the two songs she released already from this album, I will personally be a fan of the B side of the album, with “The cure” being a song I just can’t stop playing!
Olivia’s sound has improved since her debut album “SOUR”, and if you want to hear more like me, “You seem pretty sad for a girl so in love” Releases on June 12th (This Friday!).
