Cross-Country gives back to community

The cross-country team had members of the community sponsor boxes of cookies Dec. 5 at the Holiday bazaar.
The boxes contained cookies baked by the team to send to troops from JBLM (Joint Base LewisMcChord) that are serving overseas.
The team had a “condensed amount of time,” according to Coach Sandra Monaghan, due to busy schedules, but found time to bake the cookies over Thanksgiving weekend.
Each package contained a dozen cookies and a note inside
