Puyallup High School’s girls wrestling tied 24-24 at Sumner High School Jan. 9.

Julia Richards, Myah Mullins, Jahene Higuera, Tanya Simora and Emily Swanson-Lovely all had pins.

“I didn’t personally wrestle this match but I was just really proud of my team and my partner who was in the same weight class as me and she won her match. So it was really nice to see her win her match,” Lily Mace said.

Mace is a junior who has been wrestling since junior high.
