PHS boy’s basketball season ends

The PHS boys basketball team was 15-5 in conference play and 15-8 overall this season.

Their last game was against Olympia High School in the second round of the playoffs Monday, Feb, 12. They lost 54-58. As a result, they are now out of the playoffs.

Point guard and junior Jacob Holcomb says that he is really proud of how his team played overall this season.

“The year started out kind of slow with some inexperience on our team but we dug out of that ditch and ended on a really high note. I am really proud of my teammates,” Holcomb said.

Although the season has just ended, Holcomb is already looking forward to next year.

“It is a bummer that the season had to end and I wish it could have kept going but like I said it was just a really fun season this year and I am excited for next year,” Holcomb said.
