Puyallup high school gymnastics

The PHS gymnastics team has 27 all-female players.

Sophomore Brianka House is one of the girls on the team.

“We have two team captains. Trinity Tiedeman and Olivia Gamache. They are both so sweet and amazing. [They’re] the best captains ever,” House said.

Their final meet was a home game, Feb. 1, against Emerald Ridge, Rogers High School and Sumner High School.

Sophomore Emma Briones describes the challenges of being in this sport.

“Going for it, conquering your fear and not being scared, that’s the hardest part,” Briones said.

Both players agree that gymnastics is a fun sport and that they work together well by encouraging each other.
